Here are some stats on my Corvette:

1986 Pace Car Convertible MXO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 40U WHITE EXTERIOR A51 ARR2 RED LEATHER BUCKET 11T WHITE CONVERTIBLE TOP

This car was built and completed by General Motors on April 9, 1986. There were 1,044 WHITE convertibles produced in 1986 of which 783 came equipped with automatic transmission. A total of 380 of them came equipped with a WHITE top and of these ONLY 150 was equipped with RED leather interior. I purchased the car in March of 2002 with only 16,800 original documented miles. The interior was in perfect, pristine condition. However, here is what I did to the car to make it a timeless museum piece: No expense spared paint job to original color specifications.I did this because I was too fussy to accept surface scratches and mild acid rain imperfections. Brand new convertible top to exact original specifications Brand new NOS leather wrapped steering wheel. New Good Year ultra HP tires. Wheels polished to highest standards. Replaced mufflers and Y pipe with original hard to find NOS factory GM Y pipe and mufflers for original quiet sounding ride comfort. New Delco-Bilstein gas shocks front and rear New Delco battery This fine automobile now completes my collection which includes a 1989 Red Corvette Convertible with red leather seats and white convertible top with 10,000 original miles and a Brand New 2002 Corvette Speedway White Convertible with Light Oak Top and Light Oak Leather Sports Seats.
