Hi! This is my 1991 Corvette Convertible equipped with:
I've been looking to buy a Muscle Car for
about a year. I've test driven a lot of cars in the past
year. From Cudas, Challengers, Corvettes, Chevelle SS, Z-28
Camaros, SS Novas, Road Runners, Mustangs and Goats. My
price tag was $15,000 or less. I saw this ad in the
paper "91 Vette Conv. $10,999" so I called and it was
early morning. They told me it was there and told me
to hurry because there was a lot of calls on it. It
was at a Chysler dealership in a small country town
outside of Portland about a hour drive. I was the
first person there and I took it for a spin. I fell in
love and bought it. It was nearly perfect and a
beautiful Charcoal Metallic. Which I found out they
only made 417 for the entire year for coupes and conv
and only 5,672 converibles. It was the first year of
that body style that copied some of the ZR-1 features of
the year before.
My wife told me at first when I started looking
that it was my money, my thing and that it was my
mid-life thing to do. So do what ever, its your own
thing.
I brought the car home and it has a Flowmaster
exhaust system and it sounds so nice and mean... My
wife said "did you buy it and its beautiful and can I
drive it?" I toss her the keys and I said "yes, yes
and yes." She took off and I waited at home for her.
When she got back she said" I LOVE OUR NEW CAR!!!!"
What's this "OUR" car thing !!! Oh Well its hers
too... I love her so I'll share. So I got my wish and
we now have Luxury, Muscle and a Sports Car all in
one. The car Retailed for $42,256 with all its
options. Thanks Chevrolet for the Corvette.
