Jim Oxley's
1977 Corvette Coupe
Milwaukie, Oregon

Hi, here are some photos of my 1977 Corvette Coupe

I've spent the last 7 years trying to figure out what I want to do with this car. First I wanted to build a 1970 LS7 copy, then I decided I would just build a stock vette for show. Then I decided I would build a moderately wild vette for show and this is what I ended up with. I've change this car so many times that I'm still not sure what it is, but it is starting to look like a car. The motor is pumping out over 700 hp. The rear end consist of a 35 spline Dana 60 with a 4 link and coil overs. The rear tires are 32x16x15 slicks. The motor is a .030 over 427 roller motor. It has 2 holley 850 double pumpers on the tunnel ram. I guess you could say its gonnna be a drag car.

A lot of this car is hand made on my mill as I am a machinist by trade. Some parts are : carbuerator linkage, wheelie bars, emblems, shifter panel, and much more.
