Once Again In 1995 Corvette was chosen to be the Pace Car for the May 28th 1995, 79th running of the Indianpolis 500. To celebrate the event GM produced 527 identically equipped Limited Edition Indianapolis 500 Pace Car replicas to be sold to the public. Each included a special Dark Purple and Artic White paint combination with special striping and badging, black interior with special seat badging and purple seat inserts, white convertible top and special ZR-1 style five spoke wheels. This particular Pace Car is a one owner, cherished and preserved for originality, kept in a climate controlled environment and used only for show purposes.
